In Music Theory, how do i know which scale to use when there are two scales which are relative to each other?
For example:
B minor is the same as D Major
Bb Minor is same as Db major etc.
If i’m asked what scale it is which one do i choose?
Does it depend on anything?
It depends on what note you start with. With scales, if you start on B, it’ll sound like…and will be…the key of B minor. If you start on D, it’s D major.

No one answered my question. So i was wondering if anyone know of a free medical web site. I have went to google, ask.com and health results/. No luck. A couple of places sent me to med .com But they want a 45.00 dollar fee. With no result guaranteed. Any help please. Thank you. The question was about a message I got from my lo doctor. It said her ultra sound showed Lobular contour verses mild focal. Cortical thinning invaliding posteriol aspect of the right kidney. mid to lower pole. This all came about from a UTI. because her pee- pee had blood in it. Any help please. I am going crazy not knowing. And the doctor’s office is closed.
BQ: No I haven’t tried that one. But i am going too, Thank you. I google every word in the message and got nothing. Thanks Hippie.
BBQ: Kim or Kimberly please. Can’t stand Kimmy.
Have you tried Webmd.com yet?
Or just googling small parts like “cortical thinning kidney”?
My husband has chronic kidney problems – I read to him what you said and he says if it’s only in one kidney it’s a much better situation. Infections can cause thinning and mis-shapen kidneys, but since she’s so young it’s likely she’ll heal fine. Obviously he’s not a doctor, but he has lots of experience with kidney problems:-/ He also said to google John Hopkins research papers and they will give you lots of info.
Good luck. . .thinking of you!!

What is the vertical height between the two climbers?
A rock climber throws a small first aid kit to another climber who is higher up the mountain. The initial velocity of the kit is 12.5 m/s at an angle of 64.8° above the horizontal. At the instant when the kit is caught, it is traveling horizontally, so its vertical speed is zero. What is the vertical height between the two climbers?

mean he or she is safe from seizure and going into diabetic shock?
No. An insulin pump is not an artificial pancreas. It is an insulin delivery device that some diabetics use instead of syringes. He or she needs to continuing his or her blood sugar tests as usual.

I went on vacation to Disney world for a week and during that time my feet and anlkles swelled up from what I thought was a lot of walking. When I got back home I went to an urgicare clinic to make sure that I ad not injured my ankle or something and they did an EKG and chest xray and seemed really unconcerned about the fact that I did a lot of walking. They said that my chest xray looked OK and he did not go into the details of my EKG, but I did see on the sheet that it said enlarged left side ventricle. He put me on a “water pill” and told me to follow up with my DR within a couple of days. Of course my DR can’t see me for like a week. Should I be freaked out about this? My blood pressure was like 146/96. My blood oxygen was 98%. I have been taking this pill and lost like 12lbs in a couple of days. I missed a dose this weekend and I immediately noticed a gain back in water.
I am just curious if I should be freaked out, because I can’t see my Dr until friday?
I wouldn’t freak out so much at this point, but I would be sure to keep your appointment with your family physician to follow up. Sometimes on vacation, your diet habits change and you take in a little more sodium than usual, and you can retain fluid easily.
Your family doctor should recommend an echocardiogram, or ultrasound of your heart to make sure your heart functions normally and is nice and strong. This can also view your heart valves to make sure they aren’t leaky or tight (work properly). It can measure the walls of your heart to see if they are enlarged. (If he/she doesn’t order an echo, ask for one!)
Have you had any other symptoms besides the swelling? Do you get short of breath easily? Is it hard for you to lie flat at night? Do you have chest pains? Are you on blood pressure medicines? Are you diabetic? Smoker? Family history of heart problems? These are all things they should ask when you go for your follow up.
Otherwise, be compliant with your water pill in the mean time. Weigh yourself daily, and keep your follow up! Good luck!
Heart disease fact sheetAngela’s storyIn 1991, I went to the ER with chest pains twice in one week. They said it was ulcers (bleeding in the stomach). Then the pain became very intense. Again, the ER said there was nothing they could do. I refused to leave and was admitted for observation. Later, the doctor on duty saw my EKG and asked, “Where’s the 34-year-old who had the massive heart attack?” I…
