I took a methadone pill, but am worried I am going to fail a drug test. How long will it stay in my system? I am a pretty small guy, with very little body fat but don’t know if that matters. What is in a methadone that is different then hydrocodone?
Methadone is a synthetic form of heroin to my understanding, but I haven’t really checked because I’ve never done it. One pill will probably not screw a drug test if taken long enough before the test, but it’s best to flush your system. Try the stuff that was recommended by another person, and keep drinking LOTS of water. I’ve known many people who passed drug tests this way alone. You need to drink at least a gallon a day, but you need to SUPPLEMENT IT with potassium pills, electrolytes and vitamins, so that you don’t get sick by flushing essentials from your body. Good luck with the test, it should be OK.

my blood pressure has been running high since my wife’s death – they keep increasing my blood pressure meds (that I dont’ want to be on) and I think a lot of it is just all the bottled up pain inside of me and the stress of being alone. My dog died also. I thought about getting a cat or dog but I am hoping to find work sometime and I dont’ know if I am going to move or travel or stay here or whatever. I’m eating far less and balanced meals now, and I am exercising more than I ever have. As much as I can. I don’t know what else to do. I guess I just need to have a good cry. I don’t know. i went to the er yesterday for fainting and chest pain. They hooked me up to the monitor for awhile and my pulse was anywere from 47 to 97 i thought 47 was way to low but they didnt say anything. also by b/p was 99/53 also way to low for being so overweight but they didnt say anything. what causes this? they did send me home with a holter monitor for the day. Also today I had popcorn at a movie and want chinese food tonight. I know I should watch what I eat but I really dont know how. what causes this in a overweight person? what can I do about it?
Low blood pressure can be caused by consuming insufficient fluids which can result in low blood volume and a low blood pressure reading. You could try drinking more water. That should help with the fainting. As far as the chest pain and low pulse go, the hospital would need to work that out after doing the tests.

Do water pills cause your body temperature to elevate?
I recently started taking a water pill called Triamterene. I am taking it to treat my high blood pressure and water retention. Since starting the meds I have noticed my body temperature seems to go up and I am very hot. Even to the point of sweating in my house with the air conditioner on. Is this a common problem with water pills?

Father in Law is a diabetic and my mother in law and i were discussing meatloaf….she said she doesnt get it anymore because he cannot have it (red meat that is)…I told her to use ground chicken, rice, onion, green pepper, spices, egg, bread crumbs…I would serve it with a mushroom gravy….does anyone else have a recipe you HAVE MADE similar to this? Question for diabetics/people who wear a medical alert bracelet?
I am personally a right-handed person, who wears a medical alert bracelet on my left wrist. Before I got diabetes, I preferred wearing a watch on my left wrist, but now choose not to wear a watch since wearing it on my right wrist seems strange.
Does anybody else have this problem, what solution have you found?
I wear mine as an anklet! Left ankle!
Medics will look at arms first, neck next, then at ankles. It takes them about 5 seconds to scan the bod for medic alert symbols.
Reason I like anklets is yes, most of the time I wear a silver and tourquoise watch band, a lot of silver bracelets, rings, and other Navajo symbols of wealth and that medic ID does not fit with them. I also do a lot of re-enactment stuff and it doesn’t jive well with 1880s clothing. Also it gets in the way of my wools when I am spinning!
