Is there any home test kits you can buy online to check for diabetes? If so can anyone suggest any links to these kits within the United Kingdom… thank you.
(I had a blood test 2 weeks ago for a random glucose test, I believe I will need to do a fasting one, but I have a really bad reaction to blood tests and wont want to go for another for a good while yet… so was wondering if I could test from home as such).
I am not diabetic… if anything I MAY be prediabetic. Don’t worry, I will be going back to the doctors but not right now… my doctor said there was no worry from my random glucose test results… but I have become paranoid.
I’m not in the UK but if you search online for glucometers you should find plenty. One Touch is a good brand. You’ll just have to prick your finger which is much easier than a blood draw at the lab. Best of Luck.

I’m 17 and have been diagnosed with depression, at this stage I’m sick of medication and am looking for other remedies to beat it.
I currently have a little doggie, a blue rone cocker spaniel, I love her to pieces but she’s 9 years old now and going deaf and blind. When I’m with her I’m generally very sad and almost always cry when I look into her cloudy eyes (diabetes caused cataracts).

I donated blood at school in december (2010) and I walked to work and a few hours later at 3 pm I passed out because I did not eat after… I woke up someone called 911 and when the EMTs and paramedics got there they took my blood pressure and said that it was zero. You must have heard wrong. Zero would effectively mean you were dead. Think about it logically, if no blood is moving through your circulatory system then no oxygen is going to your vital organs. They will then shut down, including your heart and brain, and continue to die of oxygen starvation.

Barbs are in their own category. Maybe you want to worry about a false positive for benzos but probably not. Niether are tested for on a standard 5-slot NIDA drug test.
