Dieting with type 2 diabetes – does anyone know of any good energy snacks?
Hi, im trying realy hard to loose weight – and although im doing it safely and not starving myself i find that mid-morning / mid-afternoon and mid – evening my sugar level is dropping to the point that i feel unwell. I was wondering if any one had any ideas on health snacks that would see me through to my next meal. Im currently taking tablets (metformin)

hi you if you are finding that during the times you side i have heared from a doctor with type 1 that is in the diabetes support group i am a member of here as at lunch time and at evening meal time if you had say some kind fruit with that your lunch or evening meal would help with the fruitcose level and the extra would help with keeping you glucose levels up he did say something if if happen mid day but been honest i cant remember what is was in your case with you glucose levels dropping like that i would carry some form of glucose sweets just in case it happens you and you cant get to eat or drink something
