a couple are saying they are both accurate but ascensia saids 71 right now and I also check with ultramini the same time and it was 96. How can they both be accurate..which number do i go with.
when you go get your blood draw next time, take both meters with you and check them against the lab results.
my ultra mini is one point off the lab results. So I prefer to use it, even if it is not the one my insurance supports.
The Ascensia meters I have used are all about 10 or more points off.
The one you should use is the least expensive one. Do not be wasting $$$ and time by checking with every meter on the market.
For some of us, if we have tendancy to HYPO, we need the one that is closest to the lab!! Points count then!! otherwise it doesn’t matter.
NO!!! there is no law that says any of the meters need to be anywhere near accurate and they are NOT!!

You should see a doctor, but maybe your symptoms are caused by caffeine. Try drinking Sprite, 7up or caffeine free cola.
How can I stop oil leaking from the base of the dip stick on my Delica?
The engine is a 4d56. The tube for the dip stick looks threaded as if it should be screwed in but it is long and bent making it look impossible to turn. I live in a remote area of Bohol Philippines making it difficult to find mechanics familiar with the problem. All online manuals I have found and downloaded don’t even show the dipstick.
I’ve never seen a threaded one but you should be able to take off something to give you space to turn it maybe exhaust manifold,intake manifold. Look at it real good &see if it’s threaded or if it’s just rings used to grip the block. Try tapping it in with a hammer.
