Why am I on Oxygen and do you know of any support groups?
Hi I’m 32 years old and the doctors have me on Oxygen 24/7 I have a big concentrator at home and they also provided me with tanks for when I’m on the girl I have never in my life seen someone as young as me walking around with Oxygen please let me know if you have this is like so weird too me cause all I see wearing Oxygen is old people riding around in scooters is there some kind of support group I can contact young people wearing Oxygen please help

This sounds like you have a heart condition. Maybe cardiomyopathy with some chf there. Did the doctor not tell you anything?they don’t just give out O2 to anyone. There must have been a hospital stay for testing involved there sometime. Support groups can be found once you knpw what your condition is.
Call your doctor and ask him.

Why did they give you the oxygen? You had to have gone in for something for them to treat in such a way. What were you in for?
Only I know lungs are failing, or it could be just temporary. Why didn’t you ask your Doctor? Aren’t you aware of kind of decease you have? If you don’t have any why didn’t you ask the doctor of these stuff?
Some CF patients are on Oxygen 24/7. I am 26 with oxygen and its amazing the dirty looks you get as a 26 year old who looks normal ( Key word — LOOKS ) getting out of a car in a handicap spot. Even though I am carrying Oxygen you get dirty looks from a LOT of elderly and other impared people.
Really though it depends on what your on oxygen for? Like pulmoanry fibrosis, Cystic fibrosis, Whatever your diagnosis. Look for support groups by that and then you’ll find similar people in your same situation. Good luck. I hope that whatever it is. That your a candidate for a tranplant. If you want to do that that is. And that if so You don’t have to wait too long for those new lungs.
